THE MORE YOU KNOW,

THE LESS YOU NEED

Lemon Sugar:  I like to mix mine fairly thick, this way I don't have to deal with a runny mess and there is less risk to the integrity of my lines.  I always let it dry between applications. If your mixture is thick enough, three coats should be sufficient, thicker spots may require more coats. It should look like this when done correctly.
This particular day my henna plans were not going too well.  I had to take the paste off after only having set for an hour and a half.  It still was an amazing orange shade.
This was taken two hours later.
Three more hours pass.
The next morning.
Later that afternoon.
The next evening.  You can see a little more darkening at the bottom of my hand underneath the word Ananke.  I know this would have gotten MUCH darker had I been able to wrap this design overnight they way I usually do.
